Here at The Anchor, we take reaching the youth of Gilroy very seriously. Statistics tell us that if a young person does not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior before age 18, the chances of them ever giving their life to Jesus drops dramatically.
For this reason, our heart is to win young people to Jesus and the Word of God. We don't have elaborate programs to entertain students, but what they get here are real people sharing the real love of Jesus in a fun, down-to-earth environment that allows kids to be themselves.
Our philosophy is that what you win them with, is what you win them to. If we win them to games and entertainment, when those things stop, the youth will look elsewhere to be entertained. But if we win them to the Word of God and worship, and they experience the life-transforming power of Jesus, then then students will look to Him for their inspiration.

Youth Group meets Tuesday Nights
at 7:00pm in The Gathering Place.
We are spending our Tuesday nights looking at
"The New City Catechism" by Tim Keller.
This series takes us through various questions and answers that are foundational to what we believe in our faith. In this open discussion type service, students are given the opportunity to ask questions as well as respond to questions that their peers may have.
Both Junior High and High School students meet on Tuesday nights.
